uh.. if you're not bonding...then prot monk is the most intensive monk job available. While a heal monk can just look at their party bar and make red bars go up, as a prot monk, you have to look at the field and actually preprot targets as enemies switch, or go to cast, or attack certain people, etc. In PvE, this involves looking at enemy melee or eles and preprotting their damage. Its usually really easy in pve, but still, way more difficult than being a 'red bars' heal monk

Well I love being a prot monk,as said by many people,it does take alot of effort as you have to act before a fight,you will have to think about the kind of enemies youre up against and who will be most vulnerable to them.I've never tried out bonder so i cant really say anything about it.
